Although you can create PDF files with Chinese (or other Asian) characters, the PDF file will not be created properly if the filepath contains any non-Western characters. For now, please make sure you use a filepath with Western characters only (such as "C:\Temp\PDF_File_Output\"). I will try to fix this problem at the next major revision.
