Hi,

I'm using your great software " http://www.exp-systems.com/forum_exp/default.asp?C=3 -

Recently, its stop working and showing the following error msg: " Error (Error Code : -100) File not created"

I know that the problem is I should have Read/Write access to Windows Temp folder, but our IT department informed that they cannot provide this as its against the policy.

My question is it's possible to make the application to use different folder rather than Windows Temp folder?

Please help me to settle this case.

Thanks.

Hi,

Thank you for your kind words.

Yes, the new version (not yet released) tells the converter to use the new user's temp directory.

The latest beta version (v2.2.919) already has that feature incorporated, so if you are desperate, you can use that.

The next beta (v2.2.920) will be out shortly, and is expected to be completely bug free (there are still a few minor bugs in v2.2.919).

You can get v2.2.919 [ http://www.exp-systems.com/forum_exp/forum_posts.asp?TID=464 - here ]. Scroll to the bottom of the forum post to get the download link.

   Cheers!

Hellow Michel,

Thank you for your quick response.

I installed the latest beta version (v2.2.919), it gave some error msgs  but its working fine.

I’m looking & waiting for the latest version to be released.

Many thanks.

Hi,

   You bet.

Yes, sorry about the error message. The good news is that it will only occur once, and it is just a minor bug that occurs for users that have an older version of the program. It is safe to ignore those messages: no harm was done.

   Cheers!
