Hi, I have downloaded and installed the Pro Version and the activeX samples. I need to print some drawing from my program ( is similar a 2D CAD ) in pdf file in a specific folder and then make the merge of this files. If set then PDF Redirect as a default printer is possibile to set same parameters ( es. the destination folder of the output files..) without user interaction? Thanks in advance. Gianni

Hi Gianni,
Yes, you can actually. Please look at the "Batch Printers" feature which will allow you to create PDF printers with all your settings preset. Open PDF reDirect pro, choose "Preferences" and then "Batch Printers".
Also check the help file [ http://www.exp-systems.com/PDFreDirect/PDFreDirectHelp/Docs/Help_030.htm - here ].
Cheers!

Hi Michel, my setting change on every print because I need to save the file in different folders each time the user print one file. The path of this folder is set without user interaction. Is possible set this parameters and then print the file using the PDF Redirect with the destination folder and file name just set?
Another solution is using this printer on a server and develope a small application for male this customization. Is possible? Thanks in advance.

Hi Bruce,
If you want to remotely control PDF reDirect Pro from a program such as Visual Basic, Delphi, etc., you should use the ActiveX component which I is available as an add-on to PDF reDirect Pro.
All the information you need is [ http://www.exp-systems.com/forum_exp/forum_posts.asp?TID=254 - here ].
Cheers!
