Hello!

I have a problem using Russian letters in the subjects and the text of e-mails sent from PDF Redirect.
  1. PDF Redirect does not encode the Subject at all
  2. PDF Redirect always pretends to use
    Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"
    Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit
    in the message body.

I would recommend to always use something like UTF-8 or another instance of Unicode encoding (both in Subject field and in message body). This will suite many languages.

Otherwise PDF Redirect can be used for letters in English only Shocked

Hi,

Good to hear from you again. Yes, I agree, it is a big limitation of PDF reDirect Pro.

I will need to fix this someday. I will be honest that it is not a huge priority, because so little orders are from Asia and from Russia (sorry). For me to add Unicode character support means that I need to purchase Unicode controls add close to 2MB to the download size of the program.

So, for now, I am working on a few additional features that a lot of people are asking about, and will reconsider my position on this subject at some time in the future.

    Cheers!

Michel
