Hi,
I'm sorry, but I'm not sure I understand. Is the PDF file smaller than the original file, or is the output on the paper smaller (in the PDF, when viewed on the screen) than the original?
Also, could you let me know which programs you are using, such as MS Word, or Excel, or ???
Thanks!
Michel

I'm noticing a similar problem, and I didn't see a resolution posted here. Just installed v2.1.11, and the printed size of the document on the page (PDF version) is smaller than the printed size in the original program (for me, MS Word and MS Publisher). Oddly enough, though, the margins look fine when I view the PDF on screen. Since I'm trying to print a tri-fold brochure, this is a huge problem for me. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks, Liz

Hi there LizzieC,
Your best bet is to send me a sample file in PDF and MS Word or Publisher to that I can see the problem first hand. It is preferred that you either compress the files into a zip file or add the files to the PDF using the Attachment tool (requires the Pro version of PDF reDirect).
Send me the files to my e-mail address at exp(at)exp-systems.com and I'll take a look.
Beyond that, it is difficult for me to visualize the problem. Assuming the page sizes are the same (say, letter), and you mention that the margins are the same, I can't understand why the content would not look the same.
Last point: there are two places that you need to specify the paper size when using Microsoft products, namely the page setup and in the printer properties. That means that the program (Word or Publisher) must have the same paper size as what the printer currently has selected. If they are not, then the output can indeed look different. So, for example, the default paper size is "Letter", but you might have the paper of your document set to "A4" if you are European. PDF reDirect will reduce the content to ensure that it "fits", but it will indeed look smaller.
Probably clear as mud. Sorry. Send me a file and I'll see if I can duplicate the problem.
Cheers!
