Ive had the "pdf not created properly" when trying to merge files.
I found that it will work if I open the files and save them from acrobat.
When I save them the icon changes to one with a tiny green symbol at the bottom of the icon. I havent been able to find out what that means yet.
Anyone know the answer?
Greg

Hi Greg,

Please take a look at the Beta v2.5.4, which I believe will address the issues that you raised.

Here is the link:

Hi Michel

I have tried out both version 2.5.2 and 2.5.4 Beta, and I get the error every time I try to merge pdf-files. I am running windows 8.1. I really hope You can fix this, as I am very satisfied with your PDF reDirect in other aspects. I have license to the Pro-version.

Hi Greg,

Sorry to hear that the problem was not resolved.

About the PDF files you are trying to merge:
1. Were they created using PDF redirect?
2. Any chance that one of them is encrypted or locked?

If the answer is "no" to #1, it is possible that the PDF has some non-standard content causing the error. Try this: take a PDF that is not merging and not originally created by PDF redirect, open it in a PDF Reader, then print it to the PDF redirect (also known as "re-printing"). Will that new version of the PDF merge OK?

Cheers!
