Hey Michel, sometimes I have to provide sample reports and although they are password protected, they could be reproduced.
Is there a way to make the pdf documents time out, ie, no longer able to be opened after a certain date? It would prevent them being passed along and reproduced after a tender period has lapsed.
Could you add this in the next update?

Hi,
I would love to, but I am at the mercy of the PDF specification from Adobe, and there is no allowance for such a feature. More specifically, even if I wrote a script contained in the PDF that would try to do what you are doing, all a user would need to do would be to turn off script support, or use a PDF Reader that does not run scripts.
Sorry.
If this is really important to you, you can consider a web-managed solution with digital rights management (DRM) such as that provided by lock lizard: http://www.locklizard.com/pdf_drm_security.htm
I hope this helps,
Michel

Thanks Michel.
I think I will just password protect it and hope in a large organisation, after the initial viewing, the password will be lost over time.
Steve.
