Hi.
Is it possible to start page numbers at other than 1? Might there be a way to make up a stamp that will do this? Many thanks for a great program. |

Hi,
The program will add the page number of the page. It sounds like you need a "correction" factor, so that you can offset the page number. That feature is not there. But, if you need to start at a higher number (for example, page 5), I would add a PDF in the merge list with 4 blank pages ahead of your main file. Once the page numbers have been added, you can use the page delete tool to remove the first four blank pages. I hope that helps. Cheers! |

Many thanks Michel,
I had wondered about blank pages but had not thought that I could delete them afterwards - that is a great work-around thanks. I need to offset the page number by around 100 as am printing a big volume of illustrations to follow a lot of text (PhD submission next week!). I've just worked out that it does not take much time to make 100 blank pages in word, so am all set - just have to finish the writing now! Thanks again for a great program. Mathew |
