Hello Guys,
Congratulations for the Bigest PDF program (sory for my bad english)
I want to install the PDFRedirect by Lan. On Windows XP, I just conect it (on computer that PdfRedirect is installed) and its works fine!
(REMOTE WINXP) ====> (Local WinXp - PDF Redirect Instaled)
But, when I tryed to do it with Windows 9x (98/me), It ask me for a printer driver.
(REMOTE WIN Me) ====> (Local WinXp - PDF Redirect Instaled)
So, what printer driver in defaul list of Windows, can I use to conect it!
Thanks

Hi!
No worries about your english: it is very good. PDF reDirect must be installed on every computer. You cannot "share" the printer accross the LAN because it also includes a User Interface (the program) that must be installed on every computer. I am surprised that you got it to work on the Windows XP machine. When I try it, the program appears on the remote computer from my experience. For your Windows 98 machine, you need the Windows 98 printer drivers. When installing PDF reDirect, the program will install the right printer driver for the version of Windows that you have. Simply run the installation program on Windows 98 and you should be good to go. Cheers! |
