Topic: Setting Odd Page Size - Tabloid Posted: 28 Jun 06 at 11:28PM |
This may fall udner the dumb question category. but I am tryiong to create a PDF file for a tabloid-sized page - 11 by 17 horizontal. The image is being chopped down to letter size, with half the content missing.
I am using Pagemaker. I've read through help and this forum, looking for the fix. BTW - This is a GREAT PROGRAM!!!!! Thanks, Reed |

It's fixed! And my guess that it was a dumb question was upheld by further study.
I had changed Pagemaker from letter size to tab size so I could create a PDF of a newsletter showing both pages on each side on one sheet. I forgot that when I sent this to your program I had to also change print settings (it's not automatic). Dumb mistake - easy fix. Everything's working fine again. Thank you. Reed |

Hi there Reed,
Thanks for the plug. Glad you answered your questions by yourself. You are right: the paper setting in a program and the corresponding setting in the printer are not automated. The only program that I know of that comes close is CorelDraw that will check the printer setting, and offer to "fix" the printer's settings automatically, but only for paper orientation, not for paper size. Cheers! Michel |
