I am having an issue with a few PDFs where after I apply a text stamp portions of the PDF are no longer visible when viewed with Adobe Acrobat. The complete PDF shows in the print preview and will print fine. The parts that are no longer visible look a bit fuzzy on the original, like zoomed in jpegs; the parts that are still visible after the stamp are more clear on the original. It looks as if it might be multiple objects or layers on the PDF, or it was partially OCR'ed but the properties do not show any layers and there are no selectable objects in the PDF. I have tried resaving the original through Acrobat and printing it with a couple of different PDF printers but I still get the same results when applying the test stamp.
