Topic: Batch Printer Profiles - migration to new PC Posted: 01 Dec 13 at 9:31AM |
Hi Michel
Still lovin' this Application - especially the Batch Printer feature that let's me send all sorts of material to different virtual page sizes, quality settings etc. I'm migrating to a new PC. Is there any handy way of exporting the many profiles I have already configured? Maybe an export function? If not maybe you'll add this to your "wish list" for future releases Or is there a specific background file that I can copy to my new machine? Keep up the great work Michael |

Hi,
Actually, yes. Just copy your PDF redirect preferences folder (see below) to your new computer, and then install (or re-install) PDF redirect Pro, and all you old settings and Batch Printers will be recreated for you. The folder you want to copy is located here: Windows XP C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\PDF reDirect Windows Vista or Windows 7/8 C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\PDF reDirect Simply replace USERNAME with your Windows Account Name. Cheers! Michel |
