Topic: Controlling the number of copies to print Posted: 28 Sep 09 at 2:50PM |
Hi,
Is there a way to set the number of copies to print when printing with the Utility_Print_PDF function in silent mode, i.e. without showing the printer dialog?
Best regards,
Hans

Hello Hans,
Sorry, no: I did not think to add this feature when printing in Silent mode. I would need to add an extra parameter, and I can, but it will have to wait until after the next release of PDf reDirect (v2.3.0). For now, you will need to setup a loop, and print multiple copies by placing the function in a loop. I hope this helps. Best regards, |

Hi Michel,
Thanks for your quick reply.
I'm really looking forward to that release after the next one. I'm building a document handling system from which multiple copies of product documentation is often printed. Sometimes up to 10-15 copies of documents containing up to 50 pages.
A parameter for setting the number of copies in silent mode would save a lot of time under those conditions.
Keep up the good work!
Best regards,
Hans
