EXP Systems Forum: How to Create Custom Paper Size

       This is in reply to a request from a customer. There are two ways that I know of to create custom paper sizes. I'll assume that you are using MS Word and Windows 2000 XP.

    First Way (recommended)

Open the Printer Explorer
Click on the "File" menu
Select "Server Properties" in the menu list
Create a custom "form" (see the attached picture "Custom_Paper_Forms_WinXP.gif")
Close everything
Start MS Word
Click on "File", then "Page Setup"
Click on the "Paper Size" tab
Select your newly created paper size.
Select on "File", then "Print", and select the PDF reDirect v2 Printer

    Second Way ( not recommended - as it is not permanent)

Start MS Word
Click on "File", then "Page Setup"
Click on the "Paper Size" tab
Select "Custom Size" as the paper size, and enter the paper dimensions
Select on "File", then "Print", and select the PDF reDirect v2 Printer
Click on the "Properties" button
Click on the "Advanced" button
Select "Custom Postscript Paper" as the paper size (see picture "Custom_Paper_Sizes.gif")
Enter (again) the paper dimensions to match that of the custom Word document
Close the Printer properties window, and continue printing
