Why don't  PDF reDirect have a way to sort by DATE in the files window?Question

It only seems to sort in alphabet order.  It is very handy to be able to sort when trying to find files created that day, or on a particular day, especially if you can't remember the name.

Hi,

   Thank you for your feedback.

I agree: it's something that I found that I could use myself. The reason stems from PDF reDirect's history: the first versions had very few features. It's always a challenge to manage the difference between  useful features and adding more and more things that causes the program to become bloated.

Anyway, this feature will be available in the next version. I get to use it now, since I am developing the program, but I'll give an early look via the "beta" (ie not fully tested) version soon.

For something more immediate, PDF reDirect Pro does provide a feature to give you quick access to recently accessed files - which can at least take you to the more recent files, and saves the trouble of navigating through folders.

In the mean time, see below for a screenshot of the upcoming version.

   Cheers!

That is great news!  Thumbs%20Up

I was going to upgrade to the pro version, however, that missing feature stopped me cold.  Since it will be in the next version, I will just wait, instead of having to purchase it twice.

You bet.

By the way, the purchase includes free lifetime upgrades (minor and major are both included). You can wait if you want to, but even if you purchase now, you will still be able to get the latest version.

Cheers!
