Hi all.
Apologies in advance if I've put this in the wrong place. I've been using PDF reDirect for about a month now, have to say I'm a big fan. very quick, and a very simple to use interface. The only thing that I miss from Acrobat is the ability to create a PDF using the right-click menu on an MS Office document. For instance, I used to open up the folder that contained the file I wanted to PDF, right-clicked it, and selected "Convert to PDF" or "Convert to PDF and email". Is something like this possible with PDF reDirect? |

Hi,
Your post is in the right location. Yes, what you are asking is possible, although it might need a bit of work. I have resisted the urge to "pollute" the Explorer context menu, but I could make the installation optional. One immediate solution is to right-click the Office file, and to choose "Print". This will convert the file to a PDF (as long as PDF reDirect is set as the default printer). Anyway, I have added your request to my "todo" list for the version after the next one (v2.2.3) which is nearly ready. Cheers! |

And there I was thinking that filling up context menus was a mark of quality software!
Thanks for including it in your backlog - looking forward to trying it out. |
