EXP Systems Forum: Numbers of Support fonts in reDirect Pro?

   When i try to copy some text from PDF file which is created by reDirect Pro to Excel/Word, it happens to produce different type of font or, most of the time, only "________________" underscore characters are pasted. Please help and advise. Thanks in advance.

	Actually, this behavior is a feature for PDF reDirect Pro called "Secure Text" which protects the text from being "cut and pasted" out of the PDF. This was a request from a lawyer and from a web commerce who wanted to be able to send PDF files knowing that they could not be tampered with. A full explanation is given on our web site [HERE] You have a couple of options if you do not want this feature. 1. Wait for PDF reDirect Pro v1.8, which will be out within the next 60 days. That feature will be selectable, so you will be able to turn it OFF. 2. If you can't wait, then install PDF reDirect (the basic version). That version does not have this feature. There is a 3rd way, but a bit complicated, so write back if this is critical to you.
