I just built a new machine and switched to windows 11. PDF redirect works but every time I reopen it, it switches back to the non-pro version. When I click the pro button, it switches to pro mode showing my virtual printers and it shows me as registered. Am I misunderstanding things or is windows 11 messing with me? It worked find for the last decade or so under windows 7 and 10. Edit to add, my virtual printers all seem to work as they always have.

Hello cdavid,
Are you starting PDF reDirect by printing a new PDF? And if it starts in Freeware mode, go into the Preferences >> General >> Startup Mode, and Select PDF reDirect Pro, then [OK]. You will need Admin permissions to change how the startup of the program. The name of the printer should also change to "PDF reDirect Pro v2" If you are starting PDF reDirect manually, then make sure to click the Red icon rather than the green one. That should fix the problem going forward. Cheers! Michel |
