When using PDFReDirect Pro as a virtual printer, I can change the default quality Setting via Preferences - > Batch Printing -> Picture Quality etc.

However, from time to time, I'd like to override this setting 'on-the-fly' i.e. without having to adjust the default (and forgetting to re-set it). Is this possible in the current version? Can you advise how?

If not can you add it to your "wish" list please.

Keep up the great work - this is a really useful application.

Hi Goodwinm,

Thank you for your kind remarks.

I am not sure I fully understand. When I need to be able to change the settings on the fly, I use the "PDF reDirect Pro" printer, and set my settings as required.

Alternatively, you could setup multiple Batch Printers with variations of settings, for example:

  - Batch PDF - LOW QUALITY
  - Batch PDF - NORMAL QUALITY
  - Batch PDF - HIGH QUALITY

Or, are you asking to see the shopping list of settings (like that shown in the Preferences >> Batch Printers)?

   I hope that helps,

Michel

Thanks Michel,

Setting up multiple Batch Printers is an excellent option. That way I can have
printer A - set to save high quality in folder x
printer b to save as web optimised ftp'd to a chosen location
The list is endless.
Every time I ask a question, I realise the application is even better. Keep up the good work

M.
