This is in reply to a request from a customer. There are two ways that I know of to create custom paper sizes. I'll assume that you are using MS Word and Windows 2000 XP.
First Way (recommended)
- Open the Printer Explorer
- Click on the "File" menu
- Select "Server Properties" in the menu list
- Create a custom "form" (see the attached picture "Custom_Paper_Forms_WinXP.gif")
- Close everything
- Start MS Word
- Click on "File", then "Page Setup"
- Click on the "Paper Size" tab
- Select your newly created paper size.
- Select on "File", then "Print", and select the PDF reDirect v2 Printer
Second Way ( not recommended - as it is not permanent)
- Start MS Word
- Click on "File", then "Page Setup"
- Click on the "Paper Size" tab
- Select "Custom Size" as the paper size, and enter the paper dimensions
- Select on "File", then "Print", and select the PDF reDirect v2 Printer
- Click on the "Properties" button
Click on the "Advanced" button
- Select "Custom Postscript Paper" as the paper size (see picture "Custom_Paper_Sizes.gif")
- Enter (again) the paper dimensions to match that of the custom Word document
Close the Printer properties window, and continue printing
