Window 7 premium,  PDFredirect 2.5.2: I've used it successfully for years. But a week ago, it quit working. The green preview bar slows to a crawl about a third of the way across and never finishes.  A pdf file is never created.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times - no joy yet.

Many times. After each install, for example.

Try using Revo for uninstalling the software and install the latest version.
For revo make sure you delete all registry files. here is the link for revo https://www.revouninstaller.com/products/revo-uninstaller-free/

Try restarting the computer, and then remove the current version and then re-install.

The latest version, as stated by Imaginetheworld is a good link to try as it has the updated PDF converted engine.
