I'm new to this forum & the PDFreDirect Program.
I would like to know how to add insertable 'fields' to an existing PDF document that any user of the document would be able to fill in information on it.
I have saved the desired document into my 'merged files' window, but can't seem to locate a method to allow the info blocks to be filled in.
I do volunteer work for deceased veterans families, helpling them arrange funerals, and need help with this, please.

Hi,
Welcome to the forum, and to PDF reDirect. PDF reDirect is a PDF "creator", not a PDF "editor". Therefore, if you wish to add editable fields, you should use a program like Adobe's Acrobat, Nitro PDF Pro, or some other editor (I think FoxIt may also have an editor available). To be sure, these programs will be more expensive because of the added functionality. I hope this helps. Cheers! |
