I'm setting you PDF redirect for a client and we have two wishes:
1) Can the starting filename be preset to a specific phrase/word/text? This way, when printing QuickBooks invoices, they need only add the invoice number to the filename. 2) Can we setup two PDFredirect printers on one computer so one can be used for general PDF creations and the other set to a specific folder location and (if possible) set to the starting filename as described in #1 above? NOTE: For #2, I tried renaming the original install of PDFredirect and then installing a 2nd copy; that trashed my original copy and now I can't re-install it! So don't anyboy try that one. Hi Paul,
Please take a look at PDF reDirect Pro (hopefully, part of the 90 day free trial is still available to you). In particular, take a look at the Preferences >> Batch Printers. There, you will find that you can create your own custom printers that includes presetting the filename. I hope that helps. Cheers! Michel |
