Hi. Symantec Norton Antivirus with virus database "04 may 2006 rev. 18" detects Spyware.WinSpy in the file "jpeg4exp.dll". The description is here: http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/spyware.winspy.html |

Kaspersky (www.kaspersky.com) does not detect any virus in the file. So it's seems to be Symantec's problem and bug.

Symantec's database "05 may 2006 rev. 24" fixes the problem. The file is no longer considered to contain a virus. I restored the file from Quarantine and now I have no problems. |

Hi Andrew, Thanks for the update. Unfortunately, this is the second time that Norton has erroneously reported that PDF reDirect has a virus. Thankfully, in both instances, they have fixed their error (also known as a "false positive"). Best regards, Michel |
