   There is no limit with the Freeware version.

   First, I would check to see if there is anything odd or different with that 255th page. For example, is there a high resolution picture that might take a long time to process?

   Next question: what kind of computer do you have? Is it a modern (fast) computer? If not, it might just be that you have exceed the total RAM of the computer, and that Windows is using the hard drive to extend the memory. That works, but it can make things very slow. So, my recommendation (if you wait that long) is to wait 30 minutes to see if it completes the job - or not.

   Try printing page 255 by itself. Does that work?

   You can also try printing pages 1-254 and then 255 to 380. Both files will appear in the Merge List and are then merged together when you click the "Save" button.

    Thanks for the update. I am glad that you got it working, although not quite the way one would expect. I will continue to investigate through testing of my own. It sounds like my "large test file" could stand to be larger yet.
