EXP Systems Forum: Vista Users @ 8% and Win 9x down to 3%

   I just thought I would share the data that shows the distribution of Windows versions from the users that visit the web site (I removed the few Linux/Mac visitors). Windows NT (0.2%) and Windows 95 (0.3%) users are very few. If I lump Windows 95, 98 and ME together, these are now down to 3% from 20% three years ago. Here is the graph that shows the data: 

   What does this mean? Well, Windows NT support was dropped last year (you can still use the older v2.0) and Windows 98 will be dropped at the end of 2007. Vista support has been introduced.

   I will update the chart next year so we can continue to see the trends.

	Chart above has been updated with latest data (Jul 07). Windows Vista reached 8% in the span of 6 months, and Windows 2000, 9x are disappearing.
