Topic: The 'save' button Posted: 09 Apr 07 at 9:10AM |
Good morning,
I believe my current version had expired so I uninstalled and reinstalled the latest version this morning. Now when I use pfd redirect as my printer the 'save' button is not active so I cannot view my PDF.
What I am doing wrong??
Thanks,
Stephanie

I had the same problem today as well....
When I enabled logging, I found the following;
- Loading the Batch ini data for PDF reDirect v2"
99,52394.26,"CA",11,"An expected Error Occured in LoadBatchSettings" 99,52394.26,"CA",12," - DLL Error Number = 0" 99,52394.26,"CA",13," - Error Number = 53 Error Text: File not found" 99,52394.26,"CA",14,"-> Document Name is: CA_BOCES AMEND For Lit 070328" 99,52394.26,"CA",15,"-> UserName is: Administrator" 99,52394.26,"CA",16,"-> UniqueID is: 2115805390" 99,52394.26,"CA",17,"-> Who started me is = 1" Which of course did not tell me much, here is how it got fixed on my end::::
1- un-install PDF-redirector
2- re-boot
3- re-install it...
I tried removing and re-installing without reboot, that did not work....

Hi,
On a few computers, PDF reDirect will not work properly right after installation. The "Save" button is greyed out when the Merge List is empty, and, in your case, it is empty because the printer output failed to appear automatically. Sometimes, the problem can be fixed simply by re-printing the job right away. On other computers, a reboot is required. However, this problem (if it occurs) only happens right after installation. Once it's working, then it will be fine from then on. Cheers! |
